I am an experienced higher education professional with expertise in overseeing multiple, competing tasks and an ability to adapt to complex challenges. I am highly skilled at organizing and facilitating, and have outstanding interpersonal communication skills and influence. I have the capacity to forge strong relationships, and inspire the best in others. With twenty years of professional experience in higher education, I have a deep understanding of the sector and the socio-political and regulatory landscape it inhabits. To augment this experience I completed the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education (Quality Assurance) and the Master of Tertiary Education (Management) through the University of Melbourne. I have achieved the status of Associate Fellow (AFHEA) through Advance HE.

Key responsibilities

My work is currently focussed on quality in higher education: quality assurance, quality culture and quality management. I am passionate about generating and encouraging discourse on what quality means in higher education, what tools, systems and mechanisms can be used to measure and assure quality, and how quality can become everyone's business.  

I do this by coordinating, facilitating, designing, engaging with and supporting the following:
