I am a highly experienced project officer with expertise in overseeing multiple, competing tasks and an ability to adapt to complex challenges. I am highly skilled at organizing and facilitating, and have outstanding interpersonal communication skills and influence. I have the capacity to forge strong relationships, and inspire the best in others. With twenty years of professional experience in higher education, I have a deep understanding of the sector and the socio-political and regulatory landscape it inhabits. To augment this experience I completed the Graduate Certificate in Tertiary Education (Quality Assurance) and the Master of Tertiary Education (Management) through the University of Melbourne.
My work is multifaceted but focussed on: recognition, support, inspiration and opportunity in teaching and learning in higher education.
I do this by coordinating, facilitating, designing, engaging with and supporting the following:
• College Teaching Awards • Vice-Chancellor’s Teaching Awards • Australian Awards for University Teaching • Advance HE Fellowships • Calibration and Topic Benchmarking • Curriculum Design Accelerator Workshops • Learning & Teaching Academy Events • Award Ceremonies & Celebrations of Teaching • Teaching Networks & Communities of Practice • Learning & Teaching related projects • Educational quality work.
I am a member of the Association for Tertiary Education Management (ATEM), the professional body in Australasia for tertiary education administrators and managers.
