Dr Budiono is Lecturer of Health Sciences (Anatomy & Physiology) at the College of Nursing and Health Sciences at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia.

He is a multi-disciplinary researcher and educator with a background in molecular and cellular biology, physiology and genetics. His research focus ranges from cardiovascular disease and diabetes, and more recently has had a focus on many aspects of hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and hypermobility spectrum disorders. He is a member of the scientific and medical advisory committee on the Connective Tissue Disorder Network of Australia (CTDNA), and is a member of the Australian and American Physiological Society, Higher Education Research and Development Society of Australia and Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists (AIMS).

 

Qualifications

Dr Budiono received his B.BioMed.Sci (Hons) and PhD in 2017 from the Heart Foundation Research Centre, Griffith University investigating the Mechanisms & Properties of Exercise Induced Cardioprotection in mouse models.
