Carolyn is a Teaching Specialist (Clinical/Practitioner) in Nutrition and Dietetics and brings to this role 25+ years of experience as a Community/Public Health Dietitian in health and the non government sector. Carolyn's broad work experience spans metro and rural community Dietitian roles and project work such as Eat Well Be Active,Manager of the SA Community Foodies program. She has recently worked in the newly formed Wellbeing SA as a Public Health Nutritionist. She uses this extensive clinical/practitioner experience in her teaching and engagement with students providing real life examples to support students learning.
Carolyn brings skills in public health nutrition, project management, leadership and management of staff, health promotion, nutrition counselling and education, and program evaluation.
Carolyn is passionate about helping develop and equip Nutrition and Dietetics graduates with the skills required to be successful in this dynamic and fast changing world.
