Experienced Project Management & Partnership Leader in Higher Education and Research
I specialise in managing complex, cross-disciplinary projects and fostering strategic partnerships. My diverse background spans the medical device, Defense, not-for-profit, and international development sectors, where I bring a unique perspective to innovation and results-oriented project management.
Recently, I led the Centre for Advanced Defence Research in Robotics and Autonomous Systems at the University of Adelaide, as well as the Australia-China Centre for Personal Health Technologies at Flinders University. In these roles, I developed and executed high-impact research initiatives that advanced industry partnerships and delivered measurable outcomes in cutting-edge fields.
Currently, as the Manager of the Medical Device Research Institute, I oversee research efforts to drive technological advancement and collaboration within the medical device sector. My experience enables me to bridge academia and industry, creating opportunities for innovation and growth.
As the Manager of the Medical Device Research Institute, I provide advice on the strategic directions of the Institute.
Under the direction of the Institute Director I lead the implementation of the Institute's key activities relating to: partner, industry and member engagement; promotion of research strengths and impact; and research income for the Institute.
