Charissa is an experienced legal practitioner, with 12 years post-admission experience in professional private practice. She has diverse dispute resolution expertise, having practised across the areas of Criminal Law, Tort Law, Wills, Probate and Estate litigation, Family Law, Administrative Law, Commercial Litigation and some Property Law (as it arose from Estate or Family law matters). Charissa has previously been accredited in both mediation and collaborative practice, which informed her approach to resolving disputes in a cooperative and client focussed manner.
As a Teaching Specialist (Clinical Practitioner), Charissa's teaching focusses on Evidence, Civil Litigation and Corporate Law. She is also able to supervise honours students researching issues within the areas of her practise expertise.
Charissa is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia and holds a current unrestricted practising certificate.
