Charlie Pittaway (PhD University of Queensland, 2025) is a Lecturer in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work at Flinders University. Their doctoral research explored how individual’s personal orientations to outcomes over time shaped their engagement in conventional versus radical forms of climate action. More broadly, their research focuses on temporal thinking and a range of political attitudes and behaviour, with a particular emphasis on the environment, peace and conflict, prejudice, and democracy.
