Associate Professor Chris Barr BSc(hons) MRes PhD is a Bioengineer and lecturer in clinical rehabilitation, and Health Sciences Teaching Program Director in the College of Nursing and health Sciences. Chris completed his PhD in Kinematic Analysis of the Osteoarthritic Knee at the University of Strathclyde, UK. Chris coordinates the research stream of the Masters of Clinical Rehabilitation course at Flinders University, and supervises a wide range of projects locally, nationally and internationally. His other teaching areas are in Exercise Therapy and New Technologies in Rehabilitation. Chris specialises in gait and motion analysis, and his current research areas of interest are falls and balance in the elderly, gait in Multiple Sclerosis, and exercise therapy for rehabilitation. Chris is also registered as an Exercise Scientist with Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
