Chris Della Vedova is a Senior Lecturer in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry. He completed a Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of Georgia and a PhD in Genetics at the University of Missouri, followed by post-doctoral research in the University of Oxford in plant evolution and development. 

Before joining Flinders, he spent nearly two decades in biomedical sciences at the University of South Australia. His current work focuses on improving student learning outcomes through innovative assessment design, particularly interactive oral assessments and game-based approaches to developing problem-solving skills in complex scientific topics. 

When not at work, he can usually be found trying to keep up with his three sons, attempting to surf, or obsessively watching the cricket.
