Christopher Kee is Dean (Education) in the College of Business, Government and Law. He joined Flinders University from the University of Aberdeen, where he was Dean of Post Graduate Taught Studies for the Arts, Humanities, Social Sciences and Business. Before that he worked at the University of Basel and Deakin University.

Christopher has particular expertise in the field of international arbitration and has published widely on the topic. As a representative of APRAG (Asia Pacific Regional Arbitration Group) he participated in the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules revision process from 2007 to their completion in 2010. Until recently Christopher served on the ACICA (Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration) Rules Drafting committee, and is a past Co-Chair of AFIA (Asia Pacific Forum for International Arbitration).

Christopher's other areas of substantive legal expertise lie in the areas of sale of goods and contract law more broadly. He has an in depth knowledge of these transactions and the law governing them at both a domestic level in a large number of different countries and at an international level.

When practicing law on a full time basis Christopher established a reputation as a practical and effective litigator. Clients regularly commented on Christopher's strategic case management and his ability to find solutions that made both legal and commercial sense.

Christopher is also a Director of the prestigious Willem C Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.

SFHEA (UK), FCiArb

Admitted to practice as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria in 2001, subsequently admitted as a Legal Practitioner to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2003.
