Dr. Claire Gough is a dedicated physiotherapist and Research Fellow at the Caring Futures Institute, Flinders University, specialising in the integration of health services and policy. She holds a PhD in Clinical Rehabilitation from Flinders University and has extensive experience in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation. Her work focuses on maximizing function for older adults and individuals with disabilities through evidence-based, innovative, reablement and restorative care approaches. Claire collaborates with policymakers and practitioners to translate research into actionable solutions, contributing to clinical guidelines and frameworks that support ongoing community participation for older people.
Claire is a member of of the Flinders Digital Health Research Centre, the International Society of Behavioural Nutrition and Physical Activity (ISBNPA) and the Australian Association of Gerontology (AAG). She has been a member of the ISBNPA e- & mHealth special interest group since 2018 and is currently the co-chair.
