Claire Whitley is a teaching specialist in the Student Learning Support Service. She is primarily responsible for coordinating and facilitating English for Academic Purposes and is the SLSS's primary contact in the College of Humanities, Arts and Social Sciences. Her research interests include assessment practices, enabling pedagogy, and feedback literacy. She holds a PhD in Screen and Media, where her interests include Hollywood film comedy, media aligned with popular feminism, "unruly" femininity, and industrial responses to socio-cultural trends.
