Donelle has mentored Indigenous nursing students undertaking their undergraduate studies in Darwin and has taught across all three years of the nursing curriculum, spanning both theoretical and clinical topics. Her work has also included significant contributions to Health Simulation, with a focus on interprofessional learning. She currently holds the position of Senior Lecturer in Nursing.

Donelle completed her PhD titled: “Kegel exercises, pelvic floor muscle strength and resistance training: an exploratory pre-post intervention study of women experiencing stress urinary incontinence.”

Since joining Flinders University at the beginning of 2020, Donelle has taken on several key leadership roles, including Student Engagement Coordinator and First Year Level Coordinator.
