Fiona's role is to lead the Flinders Legal Centre (FLC) - a pro bono legal advice clinic within Flinders University. FLC provides a world-leading clinical legal education experience for students enrolled in the Flinders Bachelor of Laws programme.

FLC provides free legal advice to Flinders staff and students as well as members of the general public.

Fiona also is involved in teaching undergraduate students in the College of Business, Government & Law.

Fiona was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in the Supreme Court of South Australia in 2003. Fiona is also an accredited Mediator.

Fiona’s primary interests in private practice were insurance, personal injury and professional negligence litigation. Fiona also has expertise in Limitation of Actions Act matters, mental harm claims, wrongful death claims, adminstrative law and coronial inquiries.

In her spare time, Fiona’s keen interest in both rugby and law have brought about roles as a Judiciary Officer for Rugby Australia and as Chair of the Rugby Union South Australia Judiciary.
