Dr Gorica Micic is a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Senior Research Fellow at Flinders University and the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute (FHMRI) Sleep Health. Her work focuses on insomnia and circadian rhythm sleep-wake disorders across the lifespan, with a strong emphasis on translating research into clinical practice.

She leads and contributes to research examining the mechanisms, assessment and treatment of sleep and circadian disruption, including the use of digital and nearable technologies. Clinically, she is closely involved in the delivery and development of specialist sleep services and plays a critical role in training the next generation of clinicians and researchers. She supervises honours, postgraduate and PhD students, and has developed and delivers nationally recognised training programs for health professionals to build capacity in behavioural sleep medicine.

Her work aims to improve access to evidence-based sleep care and to position sleep as a core pillar of mental and physical health.
