I am a Lecturer in the Discipline of Behavioural Health in the College of Medicine and Public Health, and a Research Fellow within the College of Education, Psychology, and Social Work. I am responsible for the topic co-ordination, teaching, and clinical supervision of postgraduate Counselling students, and currently dedicate my research endeavours in the development and evaluation of trauma-informed frameworks in the youth population.

With a background in clinical psychology, I have an extensive skillset in the conceptualisation and delivery of a robust repertoire of psychological treatment interventions across diverse inpatient and community settings in public, private, and NGO sectors. My specialised interests and training lies within the treatment of eating disorders and co-occuring challenges.

My broader research portfolio lies within the areas of perfectionism, eating disorder treatment development and evaluation, and the development of mental health interventions in youth populations. I completed my PhD in Clinical Psychology at Flinders University under the supervision of Professor Tracey Wade, which sought to differentiate the constructs of perfectionism and high standards, and develop a school-based early intervention program currently run within high schools in the Department for Education. I have published several peer-reviewed papers in reputable jourals, and have presented my work across domestic and international conferences, book chapters, and media outlets.

In addition to my roles within the University, I currently maintain clinical work in private practice as a clinical psychologist in the provision of treatment for eating disorders, and I am responsible for the clinical evaluation and research of the paediatric eating disorder program within the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service.
