Dr Jia Song is an early career researcher in the Health and Social Care Economics Group at the Caring Futures Institute. She is experienced in using Discrete Choice Experiments to explore consumer preferences for aged care services and is interested in understanding how individuals make decisions about their care. Jia’s research also examines healthcare access and resource use among underserved groups, including people living with dementia, older people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Her broader interests include health preferences, the medical workforce, and the Australian healthcare system.
