Jikke Adema has ample experience in supporting academics with their research. Her background as project manager / change manager in an academic environment (and some in the public sector), both in Australia and the Netherlands, give her a wider perspective on how to plan, budget, apply for and run research projects. Examples of past experience include project management of science projects; coordinating multidisciplinary science projects as part of larger programs; research data management; use of electronic learning environments in tertiary education; e-Research. Apart from that she has a strategic view on the research landscape with a focus on removing barriers and improving processes for the longer term.

Main project subjects are in the area of environmental research, process analysis, information and data management, and electronic learning.

  • MSc Biology (Ecology)
  • MSc Environmental Sciences (Environmental Policy)

Non-academic qualifications:

  • Project Management (Prince2 Practitioner)
  • Business Analysis
  • Risk Management (MoR)
