Dr Joanne (Yuan) Zhou is a Research Associate in the College of Education, Psychology and Social Work. Her PhD investigated using imagery rescripting as an adjunct treatment for disordered eating. She was awarded the 2019 Peter Beumont Young Investigator Award by the Australia and New Zealand Academy for Eating Disorders (ANZAED), and the 2020 Flinders University Best Higher Degree by Research Student Publication. Dr Zhou is also a practising clinical psychologist working at the Advanced Psychology Services, providing evidence-based treatments to adolescents and adults experiencing an eating disorder.
