PhD Candidate with the College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University - researching the experiences of NDIS Participants with a primary psychosocial disability who are dying, exploring the gaps in service systems around them.
Research Assistant with Flinders Research Centre for Palliative Care, Death and Dying COMPASS Research Project - mapping community palliative care patients’ assistive equipment needs and the impact of NDIS, MAC and APER on occupational therapy interventions to optimise function.
Previously I have worked for the NDIS Ready Project with the Aboriginal Health Council of South Australia; the Flinders University Transition Support Project, NDIS Commission, with the NDIA’s Administrative Appeals Tribunal Team and the National Access Team as a mental health access subject matter expert. I have worked in the mental health in various roles for government and non-government organisations and as a support coordinator for an NDIS Provider.
