Research Officer

Kelly joined the Centre as a Research Officer in August 2015. She has a Bachelor of Science with 11 years’ experience in pathology, having worked in both public and private laboratories as well as the Red Cross Blood Service. Along with diagnostic testing, she also has a strong background in quality control and quality assurance.
Kelly is the Point-of-Care Testing Coordinator for the TTANGO2 program, which is a program for POCT for chlamydia and gonorrhoea infections in rural and remote indigenous communities. She is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the training and quality management services for the program and providing ongoing POCT support for participating health services.
