I am the Senior Research Support Officer within the Researcher Training, Development and Communications team at Flinders University. This team facilitates the ongoing training and development of Flinders' researchers. My role is to design and facilitate our researcher training and development programs which aim to build the core skills of doing research at Flinders. A key part of this role is to support the research community in ways that enhance the impact of Flinders research.

I am responsible for a variety of programs including:

  • Research FastStart - Flinders' Researcher Induction program
  • Researcher training and development workshops
  • One-on-one meetings with key research support teams
  • DVC(R) Fora for Early Career Researchers and Mid-career Researchers

I also manage the communication of research related information and opportunities to the Flinders research community, primarily through our ResearchLink platform and supporting weekly bulletin. ResearchLink enables the Flinders research community to access relevant research information quickly and is the single go-to platform for all opportunities related to research.

I bring more than 20 years' experience in marketing, communications, and high level administration from a variety of industries across Australia and overseas to this role at Flinders. I am dedicated to providing the best service possible to Flinders researchers as part of the Research Development and Support team.
