Dr Kristi Urry is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She is currently involved in the Fundamental Care enabling theme within the Caring Futures Institute, where she contributes to research exploring fundamental care and caregiving relationships in professional healthcare settings.

Her broader research program is focused on exploring sexuality and sexual health related care within mental healthcare settings, and aims to improve people's experiences of engaging mental health services by promoting a broader consideration of sexuality and sexual health within these services. This work contributes to current discussions around ethical practice, best care, and training standards regarding sexuality in mental health settings.

Kristi's research interests lie broadly in health and healthcare provision, consumer experiences, sexuality, and LGBTQIA health. She is trained in and has experience using both qualitative and quantitative approaches and analytic methods.
