Dr. Lemma Bulto is early career researcher in the field of cardiovascular disease. He earned his PhD degree from the prestigious University of Adelaide. His dedication and expertise were recognized with the Dean's Commendation for Doctoral Thesis Excellence and the esteemed Doctoral Research Medal Award from the University of Adelaide.
In 2017, Dr. Bulto secured a highly competitive and fully funded Beacon of Enlightenment PhD scholarship from the University of Adelaide. During his doctoral journey, he focused his research on cardiovascular risk factors and health literacy.
Dr. Bulto contributed to enhancing outpatient cardiovascular services. He conducted research aimed at improving patient adherence to self-management strategies for individuals with chronic cardiovascular conditions. Notably, he also served as a lecturer and researcher at Haramaya University in Ethiopia, where he took on the role of head of the Summer education program.
At present, Dr. Lemma Bulto holds the position of a postdoctoral research associate at Flinders University.
