Lindy is an occupational therapy lecturer and researcher at Flinders University. Lindy has over 15 years’ experience with educating occupational therapy students across a range of clinical areas. She is passionate about supporting students on placement and has been involved in many student-led placement models. She is committed to co-designing curriculum with those who have lived experience of the health system and integrating best-practice research into teaching. Lindy’s research interests are in occupational therapy teaching and practice areas, innovative placement models and neurological rehabilitation. Lindy completed her PhD in 2024 which developed consensus recommendations for the screening and assessment of spatial neglect for stroke survivors. The outcomes provide guidance for clinicians on how to screen and assess for all aspects of spatial neglect. Her clinical experience includes various acute and community based neurological rehabilitation and low vision rehabilitation roles.
