Lucas Cesar Ferreira Domingos holds a Bachelor’s (2018) and a Master’s degree (2022) in Electrical Engineering from Centro Universitario FEI, where his research focused on machine learning methods for underwater acoustic signal classification, contributing reproducible datasets and methodologies. He is currently a PhD candidate at the College of Science and Engineering, Flinders University (since 2024), investigating few-shot learning approaches for acoustic signal analysis. Alongside his academic work, Lucas has built industry experience in computer vision in embedded systems, contributing to applied projects in image enhancement, object detection, image tagging, and generative AI. His work bridges theory and practice at the intersection of signal processing and machine learning, with applications in acoustics and computer vision, and has resulted in peer-reviewed publications in leading journals and conferences.
His research interest includes signal processing and machine learning developments, and its application in acoustics and computer vision.
