Dr Lucia Pinilla (BSc Biotech, MSc Biomed, PhD) is an Early Career Research Fellow at at the Flinders Health and Medical Research Institute (FHMRI): Sleep Health, where she co-leads the Biomarkers and Risk Prevention research theme. Her work focuses on advancing the understanding of obstructive sleep apnea pathobiology and developing precision medicine strategies for personalised, targeted care. Dr. Pinilla serves on the committee of the Australasian Sleep Association (ASA)’s Network of Early career Sleep researchers in Training (NEST) and is the incoming Secretary of the European Respiratory Society (ERS) Group 04.01: Sleep Science – Basic and Translational
