Dr Lucy Simmonds is a Lecturer in Health Care Management and Marketing and the Course Program Coordinator, Bachelor of Business (Marketing)(International Business)(Sports Management). She holds a PhD in marketing, a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) and postgraduate qualifications in science communication. Lucy's research uses consumer behaviour techniques to develop evidence and translate evidence into practice. Her interests include social marketing, health communications, consumer behaviour, research translation and implementation science, particularly to improve outcomes in childhood.

Lucy's industry background is as a marketing communciations practitioner with experience in health and science organisations. She is a former Research Fellow in Behaviour and Practice Change at the South Australian Health and Medical Research Institute (SAHMRI) and an Endeavour Research Fellow (Australian government award) at the University of Texas at Austin, USA.
