Marina Zupan

Marina is a Senior Research Development Officer in the Research Development (Health) team at Flinders University, specialising in strategic development for major health and medical research funding opportunities. Her responsibilities include supporting researchers to develop competitive bids (primarily NHMRC & MRFF), analysing funding intelligence to inform strategic planning, delivering researcher development activities, and contributing to initiatives to grow and sustain Flinders' impactful health and medical research programs. 

Marina is strongly committed to providing high-quality, timely, and friendly support and strategic advice. She is a recognised advocate and trusted advisor for clinician researchers, EMCRs, consumers/people with lived experience, and professional research support staff. 

Marina is currently the Co-Convenor of the Australasian Research Management Society SA Chapter committee, helping to provide networking and professional development opportunities for the South Australian research management community.
