Dr Keyhanfar received her PhD in Biochemistry/Biotechnology from The University of Adelaide in 2005 and has held academic positions at various universities both nationally and internationally. Since 2019, she has been a Senior Lecturer at the College of Medicine and Public Health (CMPH), Flinders University. Her expertise lies in biochemistry, protein chemistry, protein structure and function, pharmaceutical biotechnology, drug delivery, and the production of plant secondary metabolites.

Teaching interests

My teaching interests are in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Cell Biology and Protein Chemistry. I am particularly interested in inspiring students in the field of molecular basis and biochemistry of human disease and targeting the underlying cause of disease at the molecular level for diagnosis and personalised targeted therapy of the diseases.
