Mick is a researcher in maritime archaeology with full academic status at Flinders University. Building on a naval career in hydrographic surveying, Mick has research interests in cultures of fighting at and from the sea, in the archaeology of fighting craft, and in Australian military underwater cultural heritage and associated missing casualties cases.

Teaching interests

Mick conducts guest lectures in maritime archaeology topics. He teaches in the topic ARCH8150 Maritime Archaeology in Australia and in other areas of maritime archaeology.
