Dr Monique Boord is a Research Fellow (Joint Health Command Mental Health) at Flinders University. Monique is an early career cognitive neuroscientist by training with a background in preventative health in delirium and dementia. She has experience running large clinical trials, performing neuropsychological assessment, venepuncture, and delirium assessments. Monique is currently contributing to the Defence's program of research in mental health and wellbeing through research aiming to prevent PTSD with evidence based interventions. Monique has previously worked as a post doc validating tests of spatial navigation in older adults with and without dementia, and developing and implementing a digital pharmacist service in residential aged care to detect and mitigate commonly experienced medicine related problems. Monique has extensive teaching experience of undergraduate psychology courses as well as supervision experience.
