I believe that data science is more than the application of machine learning to data sets; and I believe that data science is more than a technical component of a business. To me, data science requires a holistic understanding of the business and its processes in order to identify the best research programme/s that will deliver strategically aligned, enterprise grade insights. To that end, I believe that data science is a strategic, not technical, discipline that includes technical components.

As such, I am committed to developing and implementing strategic research data science projects and programmes within business that provides organisationally aligned insights within a well-established benefits realisation framework.
