Olivia is the Teaching Program Director - Self Regulating Professions, for the College of Nursing and Health Science. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and is an active member of the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA).

Olivia's teaching interests broadly cover a range of topics, with particular interest in nutrition and chronic disease management, ageing and food service dietetics. Olivia has completed a mixed methods PhD, and is a research fellow (0.2FTE) for the End of Life Directions (ELDAC) Allied Health Toolkit project, exploring the capability and development of the allied health workforce in aged and end-of-life care. Olivia regularly supervises nutrition student projects focused on interprofessional education and practice, and the use of lived experience in allied health curriculum.
