Olivia is a senior lecturer in nutrition in the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, and senior research fellow for national palliative care projects CareSearch including palliAGED. Olivia also coordinates the Allied Health Toolkit for End of Life Directions (ELDAC) project. She is an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) and is an active member of the Nutrition Society of Australia (NSA) and Dietitians Australia.
Olivia's teaching interests broadly cover a range of topics, with particular interest in allied health workforce, aged and palliative care, and health systems. Her leadership in teaching has been recognised by Advance HE (UK) senior fellowship. Olivia has completed a mixed methods PhD, and regularly supervises honours projects exploring interprofessional education and practice, lived experience and allied health role in delivering palliative care.
