Dr Olivia Lockwood

I am the manager of Flinders Biomedical Engineering (FBE), Clinical and Research Support team in Flinders Medical Centre. FBE supports staff in the Flinders University College of Medicine and Public Health to enable development of simple solutions to problems, right through to innovative devices for world-class research within the College. Our facilities enable us to take the development from original concept, through to animal and clinical trials and prototype manufacture.

The FBE team comprises of a pool of technical and engineering knowledge with more than 40 years’ experience and has extensive mechanical, electronic and programming design knowledge and resources. FBE is also actively involved in the support and supervision of Advanced Studies, Masters and PhD students within the College.
