My research interest (supervise and undertake) are in the areas of Autism Spectrum Disorders, Intellectual Disability, Evidence-Based Practices and teacher's pedagogy to promote teaching and learning.
I am also interested in Positive Behaviour Supports and its role in promoting teaching and learning and advocate for the use of collaborative teaching to empower supportive relationsips between teachers and classroom support staff.
Teacher pedagogy is a driver of change for effective teaching and learning. Coaching teachers to implement evidence-based practices are more effective and efficient than solving problem behaviours.
Currently a coach and consultant to several schools in Adelaide and Singapore in teacher's use of pedagogy as a proactive approach to mitigate challenging behaviour.
