Thank you for your interest in my home page. I am an Accredited Practicing Dietitian, clinical teaching specialist, and placement education coordinator. For over two decades, I have worked as a practitioner, with expertise in education, research and project management. I have held senior clinical and strategic leadership roles across some of Australia’s leading teaching hospitals and within the public health sector.
I have led dietetic service provision for one of Australia's largest intensive care units, taught students and practitioners across multiple health professions and was a key contributor to the Australasian Society for Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition’s (AuSPEN) inaugural Advanced Clinical Nutrition Program. My research has been included in the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition’s (ASPEN) continuing education program and has helped shape Australia’s first extended scope of practice for dietitians placing feeding tubes. I have contributed advocacy towards the state's first public sector enterprise agreement for allied health professionals and mentoring within SA Health’s flagship clinical leadership development program.
I am passionate about preparing the next generation of allied health professionals. My teaching is grounded in contemporary practice and draws upon my extensive experience, with a strong focus on work-integrated learning. I am committed to building strong industry partnerships that give students real-world experiences and help industry identify and nurture emerging talent. Please reach out if you wish to collaborate on health professions education.
