I am an Accredited Practising Dietitian and clinical teaching specialist with more than two decades of experience spanning clinical practice, education, research, workforce development and strategic project leadership. I have held senior clinical and strategic leadership roles across leading Australian teaching hospitals and within the public health sector, with a focus on strengthening allied health practice, capability and workforce models.

My work has contributed to significant developments in clinical practice, professional education and health workforce policy. I have led dietetic services within one of Australia’s largest intensive care units, contributed to AuSPEN’s inaugural Advanced Clinical Nutrition Program, and undertaken research incorporated into ASPEN’s continuing education program. My work was foundational to the development of Australia’s first extended scope of practice for dietitians placing feeding tubes, and I have contributed to advocacy for the state’s first public sector enterprise agreement for allied health professionals, and SA Health’s clinical leadership development program.

My current work sits at the intersection of health workforce development, education and contemporary practice. As Placement Education Coordinator for the Flinders University dietetics programs, I lead the development of work-integrated learning opportunities and industry partnerships that connect students with emerging areas of practice. I bring a strategic, practice-informed perspective to health professions education and workforce development, with a focus on building capability and supporting a future-ready allied health workforce.
