Dr Ruth Ratcliffe is a Lecturer in Initial Teacher Education with a teaching focus across literacy education and critical Indigenous pedagogies. Ruth previously worked successfully in diverse classroom settings across the NT, NSW and SA. Her recently awarded PhD focused on adult literacy and community-school relationships. Ruth prioritises teaching approaches that equip preservice teachers to meet the complexities, challenges and joys of their future careers.
