I am a full-time researcher at Cancer Council SA, leading projects on unmet supportive cancer care needs in South Australia, vaping behaviour and perceptions, physical activity and lifestyle, and population health surveys. Alongside this, I am an Adjunct Associate Lecturer at Flinders University in both the College of Education, Psychology, and Social Work and the College of Medicine and Public Health. I have supervised honours research on health messaging and cancer risk perceptions related to modifiable behaviours, and masters students across various projects. I am also an Adjunct Associate Lecturer at UniSA in the Allied Health & Human Performance Unit. I also serve as an ethics committee member for the South Australian Department for Health and Wellbeing (DHW).
I completed my PhD in Psychology at Flinders University in 2022, investigating strategies to reduce soft drink consumption using nudges, supervised by Prof. Eva Kemps, A/Prof. Ivanka Prichard, and Prof. Marika Tiggemann.
Previously, I was a Research Associate and Casual Academic at Flinders University, where I worked as a Learning Advisor and Tutor/Maker across Psychology and Health Science topics.
