Project Manager (Industrial Technology Research) at Australian Industrial Transformation Institute (AITI). He is working on research and development projects with industry and government partners as part of the factory of the future facility at the Tonsley Innovation District. Mainly responsible for the research and technology projects focusing on Industry 4.0 research, training and industry capability building. Playing a key role in industry engagement and management, and successful execution of projects in partnership with industry partners.

He has extensive experience in shipbuilding and research & technology projects. Proven track record in managing mega shipbuilding projects in various phases including engineering design, production, inspection, commissioning. Solid background in OHS&E compliance with strong project management skills working from initiation to completion including client, contractor, vendor and stakeholder management. Demonstrated capability in leading research and technology activities with advanced technologies (Industry 4.0).

  • Master of Science Dissertation, Topic: Effective Asset Management for BIM-FM Integration in the Design-build Phase in a UK Engineering Company

Project Delivery Achievement Award by DSME (2014)

  • Total CLOV FPSO Project: Achievement of First Oil completion with incentive of $250 million AUD, 2 weeks ahead of deadline, and zero injury record for 2 years under his management.

Project Appreciation Award by Exxon Mobil (2012)

  • Exxon Mobil Chayvo OPF Project: Achieved sail-away target by showing proactive attitude towards clients and problem-solving skills.

Project Delivery Achievement Award by DSME (2011)

  • Total PAZFLOR FPSO Project: Led a task force team to boost critical system which led to successful sail-away with incentive of approx. $100m AUD.
