Mr Sebastian Raneskold was, in April 2016, appointed to the position of Acting Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International) concurrently with his role as Executive Director of the International Centre, a position he has held since June 2014. Mr Raneskold is a member of the University Senior Executive Team, and leads the University's international engagement.

Previous leadership positions include various Director of Marketing roles with the Navitas group, Regional Manager at the University of South Australia, Country Director at IDP Education Australia (Scandinavia) and Coordinator International Programs at Örebro University, Sweden.

Mr Raneskold has extensive and diverse industry experience with a strong track record in strategic business development, marketing and sales, international relations and key stakeholder collaboration.

Mr Raneskold is a Social Anthropology graduate from Lund and Stockholm Universities in Sweden, a member of several professional bodies including IEAA (International Education Association of Australia) and EAIE (European Association of International Education), a Study Adelaide Board member and sits on several committees at Flinders University.
