Professor Shailesh Bihari

Dr Bihari is a senior ICU consultant at Flinders Medical Centre, ICU (South Australia) and Professor with College of Medicine and Public health at Flinders University. After his MD and intensive care training (FCICM) he completed his PhD and was the recipient of Vice Chancellor award for Thesis excellence and early career excellence. He has published over 170 peer review articles and 9 book chapters. He has been the recipient of many research grants (including NHMRC fellowship, ideas grant and MRFF Clinical Trials). He is an examiner for the part II fellowship examination for the College of Intensive Care Medicine. His research interest are lung physiology and models of lung injury.
