Shenelle Fernando is a Senior Research Officer in Primary Care and System Integration, jointly appointed by the Healthy Ageing Support and Care Team at the Caring Future's Institute and Adelaide Primary Health Network.
In this role, she supports the advancement of health services research to drive meaningful system-level change, with a particular focus on integrated care models and vulnerable or ageing populations.
Shenelle brings a strong foundation in research methodologies, underpinned by academic and practical experience in cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, and brain recording techniques including near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS) and electroencephalography (EEG). Her interdisciplinary background informs her commitment to improving the quality and accessibility of care through evidence-based innovation.
