Susan has over thirty years experience in nursing, midwifery and as a maternal child health nurse working with Child and Family Health in South Australia. She is a qualified and passionate Immunizer. Susan has been employed as a researcher by both SALHN and Flinders University for the last two years. 

Qualifications

PhD, Masters of Midwifery, Grad. Dip. Midwifery, Grad Cert Health (CAFHN), BN. Experience in both qualitative and quantitative research with a publication track record of six first author and over six other publications. She has an RI of 47.3 with over 1247 reads, 11 recommendations and 72 citations.

Honours, awards and grants

Member of Golden Key Society for academic achievement. Healthy Development Adelaide, former scholar and 2023 publication award winner. Susan was awarded a PhD for her work into vaccine hesitancy in pregnant women and its effect on vaccine uptake.

Key responsibilities

Susan is a research academic and tutor in nursing topics . She has been employed in the mums and bubs voices research project for the last two years.
