Currently working in the academic stream of the Aged Care Research and Industry Innovation Australia (ARIIA), Caring Futures Institute, I am responsible for finding solutions for the aged care workforce on a number of priority topics raised by the Australian aged care sector. This involves identifying studies that meet the criteria of each research question, synthesising evidence, and producing resources that are useful to the sector's workforce.

I have a research background, and have worked across academic, clinical, private and public health, and government and non-government settings, and have been translating the meaning behind data for over twenty years. I have succeeded in careers covering: project coordination; data management, analysis, and synthesis; research methodologies including reviews, experimental and quasi-experimental design, surveys, focus groups, theory of change and cultural adaptation; ethics management; report writing; and implementation science.

Having advanced writing skills and strong data analysis (SPSS, Stata, and Qualtrics) and presentation (MSWord, PowerPoint) skills allows me to comprehensively understand and interpret data for reporting and translation purposes. Working in both data management and collection roles has given me a sophisticated understanding of the importance of ethics, privacy and confidentiality when working with sensitive data.
