Dr Timothy Trewren

Dr Timothy Trewren is an anaesthesic trainee with a strong academic interest in perioperative medicine, critical care and clinician wellbeing. He holds a Master of Medicine in Critical Care from the University of Sydney and has published on perioperative artificial intelligence, fluid management and pain. With formal training in human factors, communication, airway management and perioperative medicine, he is passionate about fostering high-functioning teams and safe clinical environments. A committed educator, he teaches regularly at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels and contributes to simulation, procedural teaching and communication workshops. Dr Trewren’s practice is grounded in rural, regional and Indigenous health, reflecting his broader commitment to patient-centred care and anaesthetic service delivery across Australia.
