Masters in Electrical engineering - Western Sydney University

Bachelor in Electrical Engineering - Pune University

Key responsibilities

Assisting the Engineering Services Manager in the delivery of technical services for teaching and research in accordance with College priorities.
Managing and maintaining engineering teaching laboratories, including equipment maintenance and consumables control.
The repair, calibration and maintenance of commercial & in-house constructed laboratory and workshop equipment, including instruments used in teaching and research facilities.
Responsible for work place health and safety of teaching laboratories including preparing Workplace Health & Safety and compliance related documentation, and supervision of the systems of safety in teaching laboratories.
Performing administrative functions including preparing technical documentation, purchasing of technical items, calibration & maintenance records.
Contributing to the design, development, and commissioning of electronic teaching and research apparatus from general specifications.
Providing advice, recommendations, and feedback to staff & students on the operation of equipment, safety and technical design considerations.
Liaising with outside organisations and contractors on technical matters.
Any other responsibilities in line with the level of the role as assigned by the Supervisor and/or the University.
