Director, Flinders University Rural Clinical School (SA)
Vanessa is Director of the Rural Clinical School, College of Medicine and Public Health. She provides leadership across the learning experiences within the Doctor of Medicine (MD) program in Rural South Australia. She is passionate about improving education to prepare our future clinicians for work readiness focusing on the ability to adapt to the future challenges of health care. Vanessa has an impressive record of achievement and expertise in curriculum and program leadership, development, implementation and review.
Her clinical background and strategic collaborations with industry, clinicians and communities provides a strong foundation to scaffold clinical education relevant to the rural context.
Vanessa is currently enrolled in a PhD, investigating at Medical Student experiences of learning in the clinical context.
