I am an enthusiastic and creative Education Designer, Technologist and third space practitioner (Vere et al, 2024, Whitchurch, 2008). After completing a Bachelor of Business (Computing) at Deakin University, my career started in Telstra in Information Technology (IT), network support. This included over 10 years working across the organisation and in subsidiary companies in the areas of desktop support (>3,000 clients), network management (nationwide) and leading teams. I expanded my career through volunteering (Australian Volunteers International) and Australian aid agency IT work in the South Pacific. Returning to Australia, the formal education sector provided a move into Education Technology.

I graduated with a Masters of Arts in Online and Distance Education (MAODE) in 2019 (Open University, UK) while working in a dual sector university in the position of Learning Management System Administrator. I continue in the field of Technology Enhanced Learning and Teaching (TELT) across many disciplines. As an Education Designer for Monash University I worked with four different disciplines on an improvement project. In this role I have published web writing and worked with other teams to provide solutions to a wide range of teaching and learning challenges.

I look forward to continuing sharing new learnings in the areas of education design and technology.
