Xenia has worked as a social worker for more than twenty-five years in various fields of practice within government and non-government sectors. Her career history includes working with children, adolescents, adults and families, in the areas of health and child protection. She has experience in providing counselling and a range of therapeutic interventions to individuals and families, with a focus on interventions that are trauma informed. She also has extensive experience in conducting social work assessments, including for various Court jurisdictions.
Xenia is passionate about social justice and the role of social work in assisting to empower disadvantaged and vulnerable populations. She is dedicated to teaching and sharing her experiences and knowledge with students and supporting students in their emerging social work practice.
