Professor Youhong Tang

Matthew Flinders Professor

College of Science and Engineering

place Tonsley Building (4.26)
GPO Box 2100, Adelaide 5001, South Australia

Youhong is a Mechanical, Material and Manufacturing Engineering researcher with research interests mainly focused on

(1) Structure-process-property relation of polymeric nanocomposites and fiber reinforced composites, especially on rubber, hydrogel and epoxy based multifunctional and value-added nanocomposites and marine FRP composites.

(2) Chemosensors/ biosensors design, manufacture, and their associated portable devices development, especially with novel aggregation-induced emission features.

Professor Youhong Tang obtained his PhD degree in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2007. He moved to Flinders University with an ARC-DECRA in 2012 from Centre for Advanced Materials Technology, the University of Sydney.
