Matthew Flinders Professor

Youhong is a Matthew Flinders Professor with research interests mainly focused on
(1) Structure-process-property relation of polymeric nanocomposites and fibre reinforced composites, especially on rubber, hydrogel and epoxy based multifunctional and value-added nanocomposites and marine FRP composites.
(2) Chemosensors/ biosensors design, manufacture, and their associated portable devices development, especially with novel aggregation-induced emission features.
Professor Youhong Tang obtained his PhD degree in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2007. He moved to Flinders University with an ARC-DECRA in 2012 from Centre for Advanced Materials Technology, the University of Sydney.
