Professor Youhong Tang
Matthew Flinders Professor

Youhong is a Matthew Flinders Professor with research interests mainly focused on
(1) Structure-process-property relation of fibre reinforced composites, especially on epoxy based multifunctional and value-added FRP composites, with foucs on manufacturing.
(2) Chemosensors/ biosensors design, manufacture, and their associated portable devices development, especially with aggregation-induced emission.
(3) Energy haversting and sensing with device design, manufacture and application, particularly with triboelectric nanogenerator.
(4) Green and value added manufacturing of functional materials, partucular using vortex fluidic device
Professor Youhong Tang obtained his PhD degree in the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2007. He moved to Flinders University with an ARC-DECRA in 2012 from Centre for Advanced Materials Technology, the University of Sydney.
